Victims Support Agency

The Victims Support Agency (VSA), within the Department of Justice & Regulation, is the official Victorian Government Agency helping people in Victoria manage the effects of violent crime.

VSA represents people affected by crime, coordinating a whole-of-government approach to services for victims. The agency operates the Victims of Crime Helpline, and funds statewide services to provide victims with practical assistance, counselling and support through the justice system.

VSA is pivotal in linking victims to service systems, ensuring they receive personalised, timely and effective support to manage the effects of violent crime.
