The Justice Legislation Amendment (Victims) Act 2018 has brought about the below changes to the Victims of Crime Assistance Act 1996:

The Victorian Law Reform Commission (VLRC) tabled its completed report to Parliament on 19 September 2018.
For all safety related expenses that require installation such as security camera systems and alarms, there is a requirement pursuant to the Private Security Act 2004 for installers of these devices to be appropriately registered.
